do i also have it? it has been over a year since i have sex with him as he was in a motorcycle crash and is now in a nursing home in a coma. please help, i know i need to be tested but i just need to know if by having sex with him and he had hepititis C, if i would get it that way. please help, i just am scared to death now!!!!!! also is there any test i can do at home to conclude the answer??
when i read about hep c, it says must be blood to blood contact to become infected. so this means both people must be bleeding to have blood to blood contact? please help, and steve thank you, you made me feel better at least. but blood to blood, what does this mean?????

You need to get a blood test done, that’s the only way of knowing. HepC is transmitted through blood, so if there was ANY exchange of blood through intercourse, hopefully he wore a condom..

it’s not hepatitis c that is often transmitted through monogomous sex, but hepatitis b…you should be ok, but it would be wise to test!
home access does make a hepatitis c test kit you can purchase through any pharmacy or from their website! and they ARE fda aproved!
