I’m doing an essay on inhalant abuse for school. I want to know how the people who use inhalants act while high. Do they laugh a lot? do they act stupid and hyper? stuff like that.

It depends on what you are inhaling. Inhalants like paint and gasoline would kill you before you start acting stupid.

But smart inhalant users use Nitrous Oxide as a safer way to feel high. It is safe, since dentists use it quite often. Nitrous oxide, unlike other inhalants, is a psychoactive drug, just like LSD, or PCP.

Nitrous Oxide is a powerful drug. It makes the user feel euphoric and confident, therefore, they do a lot of risky things, or feel pumped up.

They don’t act hyper from nitrous, it is possible, but cocaine and pot have more of a chance of making you hyper.

Most people use who use nitrous oxide get sent into their own little universe of hallucinations. Some may laugh because they think what is happening in the hallucination is funny, or the voice in their head tells them a funny joke. I’ve had nitrous at the hospital, and the hallucinations terrified me. They call it laughing gas because it’s supposed to euphorically aid a person’s anxiety. But others misinterpreted the meaning of “laughing” gas, and posted YouTube videos pretending to inhale nitrous oxide, and laughing. there is no laughing involved with nitrous. But if you mix nitrous oxide with another drug like ketamine, cocaine, LSD, pot, or PCP, then you may experience laughing.

Most people abuse nitrous oxide as a way for them to not feel depressed, which is good for them, because they aren’t going to kill themselves.

Other inhalants, like Lysol spray cans, can make you act like Kayne West, but that’s about it.

As a matter of fact, an old MTV star, Steve-O, from Jackass, used to be a huge nitrous addict. He was an alcohol addict, too.

To give you an accurate glimpse of what nitrous oxide made him act like, check out this YouTube video. Please note, he is mildly drunk at the time, and he’s rapping on the Seth Green show. He is holding a whipped cream dispenser, and that is where he inhales nitrous oxide.

He also does a crazy thing called a “tequila stunt man” where he snorts up salt through his nose, and pours lemon juice in his eye. it’s pretty crazy.
