My Bestfriend Did Coke Last Night and She Is Pregnant?

Question by kay: my bestfriend did coke last night and she is pregnant?
she is about 16 weeks pregnant and she did coke, not alot but about 5 small lines. i tried to ask her not to but she did it anyways saying once will not hurt.
how can this harm her baby? what can this do at 16 weeks? i am worried to death about this baby even though i love my bestfriend.

ok so think about how coke affects your body… rapd heart rate. well the baby’s heart rate is usually a bit faster then the mom’s, so if her’s is racing, could you imagine how the baby’s would be.

the biggest thing that coke head pregnant mothers have to look forward to is placental abruption in which the placenta begins to detach from the uterus. not good because it can cause the baby to not get the oxygen it needs and depending on how bad it is will cause the mom to have an emergency c section. and at 16 weeks, the baby would no survive. i would seriously advise her not to do it again.

This person should put up the child for adoption because she doesn’t sound like a fit mother. Shame. :/
