Question by 101: What is crystal meth, speed and crank? ?
And is crystal meth and meth two different things? And whats ice? And what are amepetamines i spelt that wrong. And is ecstasy pill or powder? Is psp and lsd pill or powder? Is cocaine and herorin pill or powder? Please helpp i have a health project on this stuff!

Ecstasy is a pill, crystal meth comes in a rock form to smoke, meth comes in a powder to snort, I know you can inject pcp and LSD or “acid” is a hallucinogenic pill. Heroin is injected and cocaine is powder. Hope that helped 🙂

Crystal meth is probably the most popular amphetamine. It is also know an “ice”.

Generally “meth” is short nomenclature for crystal meth, but meth can be other amphetamines, like speed, so it’s hard to answer that question. The reason it is confusing is that NOW meth normally means crystal meth, but crystal meth is a fairly new drug and people have been referring to speed as “meth” for a long time. So it’s confusing. Meth to the older generation means speed. Meth to the younger generation means crystal meth.

All amphetamines can raise heartbeat to dangerous levels, but they generally give a feeling of euphoria, anxiety, and increases libido (sex drive), that latter is what ecstasy is well known for. Even though they are a restricted substance (like marijuana), in some cases they have been approved by the FDA for treatment of ADHD in small doses.

PSP is a different class of chemical than the first three amphetamines. It is also known as angel dust. PSP is a hallucinogen and anesthetic agent (stops the brain from receiving pain signals from the body). It is normally a crystal, like crystal meth, that is smoked although it can be ground up into a fine powder and snorted or ingested. It’s most fameous for its well known anesthetic properties. There are horror stories about people using it and getting shot without even knowing they were shot.

LSD is normally known as acid on the street. Using acid is normally known as “tripping” or going on a “trip.” Like PSP, it causes hallucinations. It is normally a liquid, which is taken by putting a small amount on a sugar cube, paper, a sponge, or gelatin and sucking on it. However, it sometimes is found in a bitter-tasting solid form that can be ingested as well. LSD is normally not taken as a pill.
